oh the fumes....

So I just finished staining my front and back deck and part of my fence and for the past 3 and a half hours I have done nothing but breathe in the paint fumes. I'm wondering if this aching headache could possibly have anything to do with that?! But on the bright side, it looks B-E-A-utiful!!! I guess I can't complain that I was actually out doing yardwork in OCTOBER!! And hats off to my roommate Katie and her boyfriend, Matt....they filled one side of my house with gravel and totally worked hard this afternoon...you guys are the bomb! Now I must get myself all prettied up for our Karaoke party tonight! It's not just your regular Karaoke Party...it's dress up like a musical celebrity....I have a feeling some pretty sweet people will be making appearances at our PARTAY tonight....wicked...stay tuned for some sweet pics...

my roommates...

Well I decided that I should start with one of the best aspects of my life...my roommates! Seriously, you would think that 5 girls living together would = CHAOS and I'm not going to tell you that it doesn't, but it's the best chaos ever! First we have Nadine, she's been living with me the longest! I've seen her do some pretty crazy things over her year and a half with me! Nadine is one of those people you always want around becuase there is never a guarantee of what she will say or do next!! Then there's Katie, if I could pick one word to describe her it would be MOTIVITED, that girl can power through EVERYTHING like nobody's business. Next in line we have Susan. Susan was one of my first friends in Lethbridge (I apologize for the cheese factor, but it's true) and I must say I'm glad that I get to live with her before she graduates! And in her last semester of University we get to have a class together...our prof is a bit of a quack, but it's always good for a laugh!!! And my little sis, Haleigh, moved in this year too! Even though we've lived together our whole lives, I think it's more fun when we're "roommates"! So yes, that barely begins to describe these girls I love so much, but it's a good start...and I have a feeling there will be some more stories to come...

the result of boredom

Have you ever hit a point in your life when you get so extremely bored that you actually succumb to the latest craze and create a blog for yourself?? Well, let me tell you, that is just what has happened here. It turns out I have nothing better to do on a Thursday night than to boycott "The OC" and sit here in cyberland discovering ways to share my life with the world!! I've already played a mean air guitar to "I Believe In A Thing Called Love" with my roommates, and well, that was pretty much the peak of excitement for this so called "Party House" tonight!! Hence, this blog. Well, I'll be honest, some pretty random things happen in my life (like 5 squeegee guys attacking my car at once at the gas station) so I figure that should be enough to keep this blog entertaining and enjoyable for you all!
